WHAT GOT YOU INTO FITNESS?
I have always been a very athletic person. I played a variety of sports growing up and ended up wrestling through high school. By the time I got to college and my wrestling passion was fading I looked to rugby for a couple year and loved it. Unfortunately, I got injured and that made me think about how I would continue to be active without playing sports. I put all my energy into rehab in the gym and started to fall in love with watching my body change through daily intentional actions. Over time I became more involved and started training clients and eventually found Mens Physique. I did my first competition in 2013 and won my class. It was then that I knew that this was going to be my main focus for the foreseeable future.
WHAT'S YOUR SOURCE OF INSPIRATION?
My source of inspiration comes from trying to see how far I can push my will power. Every time I start a prep, what keeps me going is knowing that I am willing to do more and suffer more than last time to get and achieve a better result.
WHAT ARE YOUR FITNESS GOALS?
My current fitness goals are to make it to the Mr. Olympia in Classic Physique.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE EVL SUPPLEMENTS?
My favorite EVL supplements would have to be PumpMode because I just love the feeling when it hits in the beginning of a workout. You feel the skin getting tighter and the blood rushing into the muscle. I also can't do without my Chocolate 100% Isolate Protein. I use this Isolate shake all the way through my preps without any issues. Love it!
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE EXERCISES?
My favorite exercises would be dumbbell shoulder laterals. This exercise targets mainly the outer head of the shoulder to give you a wider more aesthetic look. Second would be leg press. Loading a machine up with heavy weight and having the safety of being able to rack it makes training intense, but safe.
WHAT'S YOUR BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT?
My biggest achievement was turning pro in 2019. I self coached my way to win the 2019 NPC USA in Mens Physique.
WHAT KEEPS YOU GOING?
What keeps me going are the little messages I get from strangers telling me that I motivate them or that they learned something from my social media. We all have an impact on somebody you don't even know.
WHAT'S YOUR GO TO CHEAT MEAL?
My go to cheat meal is 2 In and Out 4x4, Animal Fries, and a large neapolitan shake.
